What's the difference between a refinance and a refinance witness only signing? TIA

I have my own opinion -
refinance - they want you to explain, without practicing law, what the papers are.
Refinance witness only - you're to play dumb. Any questions, have them call L.O. I also think they use this phrase to make it sound like a quick and easy closing - so they can try and cut the fee!!!

That's kind of what I thought too, Art. I always put the same price for both.
