URGENT - Fees For An Attorney
May be a dumb question... so I'm sorry... but I'm really new. What would you charge as a base fee to an attorney who wanted to use your services for their clients? They're in my city, so very close. I was thinking $50 base fee and then $10 per ack/signature, etc. Does that sound too high? Too low? Any input would be greatly appreciated. THANX!

Why don't you ask the attorney what they were thinking of paying you before you offer anything. They might be thinking a lot higher than you! Or, if they're not, you can decide if it's worth your while.
Just a thought. Good luck

That's what I do with new companies, I ask what they think would be a fair fee. Most of the time, their idea of pay is higher than mine..which turns out great!

I would keep my base fees the same for all professional purposes. I do charge a higher fee for Title Companies, Lenders, and Mortgage Companies (only because SS do not pay as well and the others are will to pay). I would quote the fees that I use for the Title companies and such.
Just my two cents.

When I used to notarize trusts for an attorney, I use to charge a minimum of $135.00 that fee went up if there were a lot of docs to about $175.00

After reading the messages, I agree w/someone that I would ask the attorney what was he thinking first. It will probably be higher.
