When to use a...

When do I attach a "California Jurat with Affiant Statement" form? I have a "Borrowers Pay-Off Affidavit with the old jurat wording and I was wondering if I use the CA All-Purpose Ack or the CA Jurat with Affiant Statement. Thanks

If you are replacing a jurat with outdated wording, you need to replace it with a jurat.
The all purpose ack is for acknowledgments not jurats.

If you are administering an oath or affirmation and your affidavit lacks the wording for a jurat, this handy stamp can be used to add the jurat text directly to your document (provided you have a small amount of blank space available).

I have the stamp but no one seems to like it and I can rarely find space enough for it. In the loan packet was a copy of the new jurat form. It was loose so I would assume that the title conpany knows that there wording/documents are outdated. Thanks all.

Go to the CA SOS website and print out a few Jurats with the new wording... that is what you should attach.
