Who is acknowledger

I am probably going to get heat for this question but I was looking at my own mortgage...It has a spot for person taking acknowlegdment and spot for acknowledger which is which? Usually I have seen an area for Notary to sign. This is my own personal paperwork so it is not signed. Can someone help me I am second guessing myself.

Re: here is the wording please help

The notary is the acknowledger. 90% sure - I'm in CA so the wording is not what I'm used to. Plus I am a victim of the public school system.

Re: The acknowledger is. . .

. . .the person who says to the notary, "Yes, I signed the Deed" and the "person taking the acknowledgment" is the notary, who says "The foregoing instrument was acknowledged before me this...day etc."

As a notary, you can't take your own acknowledgment.

Typically, the signature of the notary goes at the end of the notary certificate where it says "Signature of person taking acknowledgment". Under that, you must print your name (Florida requirement, may be required in other states as well) where it says "Printed, typed or stamped name of acknowledger" or words to that effect.
