"Best" Excuse for late E-Docs

Hi all,

My submission: "Ah geez, we thought that Michigan was in the central standard time zone". Did this statement come from someone at a California ss? Yes, indeed it did !! Now granted Michigan is on the western edge of the eastern standard time zone, but as far as I know it has always been in that time zone. I suppose this sort of bears out the perspective of the western hemisphere by Californians that you got California on the west coast, and then New York, Washington, and Boston on the East coast and sort of a big vacuum in the middle.

Any other entries?

Ah, Gezz Ted!! We Californians are a laid back bunch, especially here on the Central Coast. The docs may have been late but the real question is; will you get paid?? Surf's up, gotta go =)

Goldie,

Docs late? Well they arrived at 8:30 p.m. (and the appointment was originally scheduled for 8:00 p.m.). As far as getting paid, well it turned out the signing never took place as the e docs required the downloading of a print utility, and my brand new laptop was out in California (where else?) getting fixed. So couldn't print the docs out.

Got a call at 11 pm eastern time for a "rush" closing, edocs of course. When I said that there isn't enough time to download, print and then go to the borrowers, the response was, "I don't see why not. You've got four hours if you use California time!"

I read in the paper that a bill has been introduced in the Maine legislature to move Maine from the Eastern to the Atlantic time zone.

And while Maine wants to move to the Atlantic time zone (with PEI and Newfoundland), a bill will soon be introduced in the Florida legislature to move the SE Peninsula into the Twilight Zone. Smiley
