attorney states???
Does anyone know which states are attorney states? The only one that came to mind when someone asked me this was Georgia.

For BP/WV
If WV is an attorney-only state, then why is Victoria Ring publishing the following in her newsletter? (Rhetorical question!)
ATTENTION WEST VIRGINIA NOTARIES
Did you know there are over 42,000 notaries in the state of West Virginia but a large majority are not aware of the notary signing agent field. But one lady is out to change all that. I had the pleasure this week to talk with Teresa Cole, a knowledgeable notary with many years of business experience. She is working hard to provide notary signing agents with the education they need in an area that needs it and I hope all of you will give her your support. If you know of a West Virginia notary, or if you can help Teresa in any way, her contact information is:
Teresa Cole Email: [e-mail address] Phone: 304-522-1260
Is this another "faux pas" by the infamous Victoria Ring?

I think Northern New Jersey is still an attorney state. Southern New Jersey uses title companies, notaries, etc.

Re: attorney states??? Bonnie
I hate to burst your bubble, but, NJ is one state. The difference between N. NJ and S NJ people and attitudes gives the impression that there are 2 states !!
As a adder, NY City is NOT a seperate state. You can't convince anyone from Albany, Buffalo etc. that that is true.
