eDoc Dowloanding Sites
What are some of the websites lenders, ss, title, escrow companies use when YOU need to download the Docs?
Anyone have a list?
Need to know if my printer is capable of downloading and printing from these sites (HP 1012).
Thanks to all in advance for any help!

Read msg #44429 from BrendaTX. I tried it and it worked for me.

You MUST have a printer with PCL-6 drivers. I have the HP1310 and it works great - I'm not sure if you need to upgrade but I think so if you want to download edocs.
I recently took the AP Certification class though Notary Classes (awsome seminar!) and their book, Wildly Successful Loan Signer, has a whole section on edocs and a list of all the viewers you can download. Don't worry - if someone sends you edocs, they usually come with a link offering you to download their viewer/program and they are free (at least this has been my experience and I am a newbie). Just do what the book told me and save the program to your hard drive (I save to my briefcase) and it will already be there the next time you do edocs. PS Thank you Kelly Robinson for being a great instructor and my inspiration! Allison Peaks

Allison - Are you sure you have a "1310"? The 1310 (PSC 1310 to be more specific) is not PCL compliant, but an inkjet that supports LIDIL (Lightweight Imaging Device Interface Language) as its language.

Allison: Very important!
There is a person who uses the Author name "CaliNotary" on this Forum already. That person has been posting here for quite some time, and is very experienced. Please choose a different handle, one that includes the two-letter abbreviation for your state, such as "AllisonP_CA", "AlliP/CA", et cetera. Otherwise you will be receiving many messages from people who are unhappy with you.
Welcome to the insanity! Please take the time to read all the older posts. They will give you a better education than any course.

Re: Allison: Very important!
Thank you Ernest! I did a thorough looksie of all the old posts and I see exactly what you are saying. PAW: I was mistaken: I have an HP 1300 and it works fine. I just print everything on legal when I get edocs. No call-baks yet. Thanks all --- it is very nice here and I have and WILL learn a lot. Allison!
