good buy on laser printer

i just bought a brother hl-5050 (refurbished) from www.buy.com . It was $102.17 with a $50.00 rebate. the shipping was $26.00. At the time they also had a 10% off coupon on the website. I ordered it on sunday and it came tuesday!!! It looks brand new and works fine! perfect for someone who is just starting out and does not have the cash to purchase one of the more expensive printers right now. By the way, they also had a "promotion" where if you fill out a survey you can receive and extra $25 rebate. So in total the printer will cost me $43!!!

Is there 2 trays for letter and legal paper? Can the printer automatically change paper during a printing cycle or do you have to babysit?

Brother HL-5050: It's a great piece of equipment. I have had one for 9 months now. However, it used to automatically select Legal or Letter, but not any more. I belive something is amiss. I tried the instructions in the manual but it still doesn't work. Suggestions welcome.
