notary on the run -still does not pay

just an fyi on this company; i took a chance on them, regardless of their bad payment history in March 05, and still havent been paid. Have emailed them several times, to no response or acknowledgement at all. do a search for the post from the President of the Company who says he will pay. He still doesnt pay.

They really do NOT pay. Just an FYI for those newbies who are willing to give them a chance.

They paid me w/i 60 but I don't like working with them because they just aren't my kind of people. The boss there would rather lecture and bully (IMHO) than to accept that I'd forget a fee just to get off the phone with him.

He wanted me to collect signatures on court affidavits that were incomplete, etc. I hung up on him twice to get rid of him...he called back and spouted more nonsense. I don't work for them...they require things that are not what I consider good notarial procedure.

i agree. he totally tried to bully me, he knew i was a newer notary at the time. He was spouting off about legalities and notarial duty to do things that i thought were unethical; and since then i have done research and it IS unethical what he was asking me to do. Not a good bunch to work for. I wont work for them again, if they ever called me. I hope they dont.

I just wanted to warn the newbies, since not everyone knows to read the search msg boards. Laura

I just would like to state there is another board where there is a little more information regarding this company. The link is: http://members2.boardhost.com/FLSigningAgent

The title of the message is: Jurat with the wrong wording.

Recently, Fay stated: "Thanks to your message regarding Steven Hamburger of Your Notary On The Go, I have just written a letter to the Secretary of State requesting revocation of Mr. Hamburger's notary public license for using devious tactics in his dealings with other notaries when utilizing their services. If at any time, the SOS wants verification of other notaries in the same predicament, it is hoped that I may call upon you as a witness."

If you would like to participate, please let Fay know.

They are two different companies, Giselle.

The one mentioned by Fay is NOTARY ON THE GO...not NOTARY ON THE RUN.

Unfortunately, too many people who read this board are like you - they figure they'll "take a chance" and hope that somehow their situation will turn out differently. There's definitely a reason so many company names come up over and over again on these boards.
