ss applications
If you do a signing for a ss company without filling out there application, can or will they not make good on payment?

I have done it, and they have made good on the payment - but you need to check out the company. Generally, what I have found is that when they call - they will send you a confirmation along with the contract and other information required W-9, etc.

always get a confirmation of your fee by e-mail or fax. You can also ask them for their fax number to fax them a W-9 form. Some will send you an application and agreement after you've done the job (right) I've only had one company out of several that I've had a payment issue with. Also, you can look the company up here, if they are listed, they will be rated.
good luck

I did get a confirmation w/fee noted. I have not sent them a W-9. They only want to be billed at the end of the month. So I will probably need to send them one if I want to be paid.

I would also tell you about a free site for invoiceing http://www.wef.net/invoicesOL/ Someone else on this site posted this and it is terrific.

I did look at that site and thought it was very good. I plan on trying it out on my next invoice.

hcamper/fl ... notarydepot.com invoices
I tired the site you're referring to, but prefer www.notarydepot.com for my invoices.
