For those of you who have signed up with this company. Do you have to take their test in order to become listed with them. I am already certified by the NNA so I don't really want to have to pay to take another test. Isn't their a basic listing? I looked on their website and I am not sure what most of you have.

You don't have to be certified with them to be listed, although they say they will list you higher if you do so. Probably the best return on investment site I use. You can also list for free if there are less than 4 notaries in your county.

I couldn't find a way to list for free. I looked but all I can find is the cheapest $39 basic fee. I will go look again. Thanks

Re: Less than 4 notaries ...
As Roger pointed out, I'm sure as saturated as California is, California doesn't have a county with less than 4 notaries.

Re: Less than 4 notaries ... How many notaries?
According to the latest issue of the CA notary handbook, there are more than 236,000 notaries in CA. Now let's see with a population of about 34.5 million that works out to....one per 146.18644 persons. Anyone feeling discouraged?? Nah!!! I bet even tiny little Alpine county has more than 4 notaries.

Alpine county barely has 63 people that even live there.
"I found over 63 notaries serving Alpine county."
But seriously, where did you find that information?

National Notary Association - SigningAgent.com - the directory that SSs use to find NSAs.
