Does anyone have a current phone number or fax for this company in Loomis, CA? The number I have has been disconnected (916.652.9331)......of course they owe me for a signing from 2/3/05. :(

I too have been tring to reach them to fax my invoice for a signing last week. All numbers that I have, are disconnected. This doesn't look good at all!!! I'm unsure what to do at this point. Does anyone have any suggestions, other than to bend over and take one in the a**?

I just accepted a signing for this company and they called me from the following number to ask me to do the signing: 916-652-9337. On the confirm sheet I got it stated that the fax # is 916-652-9388. Boy, I do hope I get paid for doing a signing on Easter day. I do hope that helps.

I've had a check here for 2 or 2-1/2 weeks. The check was written on the same bank as my account, so with branch banking, they can immediately see if the account has been closed, etc. The account is still open and there was enough money to cover my check.

Yes, Barbara it was WF. Many of the banks have gotten pretty picky about cashing a non-customer check, so I don't know if they'd cash it for you or not. If they won't, I'd suggest you make a copy of the check and immediately deposit it in your own bank -- with the new whatever it's called law, checks clear almost immediately. I'd ask them to put a rush clear on it, if that's possible. Good luck.

They just move to a new office....

that is probably why they were disconnected, but try the number given above...that is still good. I haven't had any problems with them...just call and speak with Steve.

From my experience as a banker, yes if you go to the bank that the check is from they will give you the money right away.

For a check made out to you, ...

... drawn at a bank at which you do not have an account, the bank on which the check is drawn must honor it. BUT, expect them to want a credit card, etc., so they can come back after "their" money if the check bounces!

Thanks for all of your help. I did call again and was able to get through. Talked to Steve and the check is in the mail.
