After I accept, I ask them to e-mail or fax a confirmation, they always have. Call the SS back and tell them you need the confirmation with your agreed upon fee - before the appointment

I have, and he hasn't called me back, nor has he emailed me. Thanks for answering me so quickly.

What business are you dealing with????
If he/she/they/them haven't called you back, and your gut feeling is telling you that you may get screwed in the end... then follow your gut and don't do the signing.
What business are you dealing with that hasn't or won't call you back????

Check your e-mail spam file, if you have one. NM

With docs or without docs, don't ever go to a signing without first having a confirmation.

>>> What is jumb pmme? <<<
Misplaced fingers. Commonly referred to as "fat fingered" the keyboard. Try "jump on me".

carole,
You sure don't want to bill the title company. They are not the entity that contracted your services. I would contact them re payment only as a last resort.
