Certified Signing in TX
To all notaries in the CT area. A fellow notary in my area..referred me to a signing company for a closing she could not fit in her schedule. (thank you MJK) To my surprise..They called me. The lady gave me all the details and I said I would do it. then she asked about exp. I told her what I have done and she said "This loan company requires 2 years unless your certified by us" she then referred me to their website (www.certifiedsigning.com) I went to the site filled in all the info but step 2 was to take their training. I emailed them about other training (ie online) and this is the reply I got. .....
Hi Paula: Unfortuately, we do not conduct trainings in your area. In fact, the only way that we would...would be if there were more than 15 people interested and I would fly there to have the training. Thanks for your interest! Re: Mary (quick note)
If that's the case I should have received a check by now. I did a signing for them on 2/18. They didn't have anything on their confirmation as to when payments are sent out.

I checked the agreement they had me sign and said payments are paid on the 15th of the month. I should be receiving my check soon.

Where are you Mary....Did you have to take "their training" to get calls? I filled in the agreement and mailed everything back.....but step 2 is a problem.

Re: Mary (quick note)
I'm in NE PA. They contacted me for a signing through this site. Never asked me what my experience was. I have to mail them my W-9 and their agreement to them. That's all the guy said they'd need to pay me. Never mentioned anything to me about training but I did see that on their site. I'm in an area where there aren't many notaries....many times they say that I am the only one. The guy had contact 2 or 3 before me and none of them did e-docs. I was the only one with a laser printer. He said he was pleased with how professional my conduct was. I ended up doing 3 sets of edocs because first the signing was rescheduled due to the borrower's wife not being available...he assured me I'd get paid for those docs and then the next day when rescheduled I printed out the new set to find out they changed the loan amount so I was being paid for 2 more sets of edocs.

According to their web site, they want at least two years experience and for that they are willing to pay a $50 flat fee and a whooping $25 more for e-docs. WHERE DO I SIGN UP???

I was able to get my standard fee. They found me on here. I did not sign up on their website.
