Denied a job? Suspect!
A lady named "Karen" called me drilling me with 100 questions, like an interview. She said I applied at her companies site to do signings....anyway, she was getting on my nerves because she was asking soo many questions, then she asked what kind of printer I had, I said a hp all in one....she asked if it was a laser, I said no, my laser broke and I'll be getting one this week, she said, well unfortunatley I had two BIG deals in your area, but I can't hire you because you don't have a laser printer....and she told me to call her when I get one. What are your thoughts about this??

why is it suspect? She obviously wanted to make sure you knew your stuff...and you definately need to use a laser printer...get one right away and call her back!

Unfortunately one of the requirements for printing docs is that you have a Laser Printer..... If the job was that "big" you could have printed it on Laser at a Kinko's or someplace like that.

That's pretty routine. At least for me.
You said you had an hp all-in-one. What brand? I'm using the Lexmark X6150 printer, scanner, copy machine, and fax. I've never had a problem recieving docs via email.

It always helps us help you when you put the company's name in your post. If you have other info on the company (contact, Web Site, phone number), that's helpful also.
Inquiring minds want to know: What was the company and what were some of the other questions?

or Ernest you can do your own legwork and find your own clients. it's not that tough. how lazy can you get - asking for contact info for totally unknown companies?
