Electronic Secure Notary Seal

I am new notary in CA. I was browsing through supply section of this site and found an item "Electronic Secure Notary Seal". What is the use of "Electronic Secure Notary Seal" ? I did not see any use because we can not notarize electronic document without signature in ink.

I was under the impression that the federal e-sign law allows notaries to accept digital documents from constituents which have been signed electronically, and to use electronic signatures to perform the appropriate notarial act.
