Emailed Docs & Set up
This is my 1st time to get emailed docs...I have no idea 1) Do I need to have a certain printer or will my HP 8150 work? 2) Do I need to download any certain software, if so, from where? 3) How long does it usually take to print a full set of docs? 4) How much do you charge extra to except emailed docs? Thanks for your help! Lynda

Hope you get better answers, but this is a start.
1. Most HP's work well... it's the 'preferred printer'. But many others are just fine. Must be a Laser printer.... you know that, right? 2. Depends. Some just print from your computer & some you do have to have the software. When it arrives... you'll be told. Follow directions and be patient. 3. I don't know how long a HP8150 takes. But, truth is, depends on lots of things besides your printer. Takes me better part of an hour IF all goes smooth. 4. At least $35... I charge more--$45. Many will try to get you to do 'em for 15-25 bucks--we're talking two complete sets here. Hope this helps.

Re: more answers
Take the time to download adobe reader ahead of time. add a file folder to your desktop - label it something like "xx 3-18-05" with xx the borrowers name. When you download, download into this folder. It keeps all the docs together if there are multiple downloads. Check to see what you have to do to print on legal sized paper. 99% of the time docs contain legal sized docs. Establish a contact with an experienced NSA. That way you can call if you have a problem.
I'm sure others will give you some good suggestions.

At the risk of sounding harsh, I suggest you select a name with an indication of your state, because you will likely get more responses to your posts as many people will not respond to anonymous or alias posters, and some questions are state-specific. Additionally, by reading through past posts, you will gain a wealth of information and education and will find answers to many questions you don't even know you have.

Not to make a pun, but California's notary laws are in a state of their own. So that people immediately know you are from California and make sure they will read your posts, you will probably want to include CA in your author name. I see that you have already created your logon name as Notary4U2, so don't know if you can edit that particular name or will need to create another one.
