HP 3015 tray, legal size question

I searched the old postings and did not find exactly the answer I was looking for. So here goes, I have not did a loan doc signing yet, but I am hopefully soon. I am confused on the media tray and priority tray and not sure how to set the printer. Is there a way to put legal in one and letter in the other with it knowing where to pull? I tried printing but it is pulling from the priority inputtray automatically, and ignoring the bottom media input tray. I want to get this figured out before I get an e-doc so I don't screw it up. The book sucks!

If anyone has this printer, please let me know which tray would have which size, and possibly what settings. I would greatly appreciate it. I didn't find a post on the actual tray problem, so please don't bash me for not looking, because I tried to understand and could not. I'm just a newbie trying to get things straight. : )

I think you just should load all legal. That's what I do.

I don't think you'll be able to make it act as legal/letter printer with ability to select. I understand what you are asking because I have the 3015.

I have the same printer. I print everything on legal and never had a problem with TC or SS companies. 3015 is not a dual-tray printer. The priority tray is there for printing about 5 sheets at a time and will override whatever paper is in the main tray.

yeah I noticed that, thanks! I guess I will have to print all legal then. Oh well, I guess it beats not being able to print legal! ; )
