I used to work for Land America. Actually I developed/modified the system they use to track their closings and notaries. They're absolutely a standup company as far as I know though at the time I worked for them I was not working for them as a notary signing agent. They're one of the largest title insurance companies out there and have been in business for over a hundred years.

They pay well and promptly right after the expiration of the rtc.

I read your post that said Land America pays title company fees. I just got an email inviting me to sign up with them and it says they pay $60! Do I have the wrong company or something?

This post is a little late, but I wanted to put in a good word for LandAmerica (OneStop Signing). All I can say is they are wonderful to work for, very friendly, honest and professional! (I am amazed at how many signing services out there are unprofessional-to say the least.) They met my fee with no problem at all and I am proud to represent them. I wish all SS out there were like them!
