New Signing Agent Seeking Advice

Forgive me in advance if any of this sounds ill-informed, but I am a new signing agent and would appreciate some guidence from those of you who are more experienced.

I've read a lot of the posts seeking advice on companies to sign up with and who to avoid, and noticed that someone even mentioned a national database.

Does anyone have any suggestions on the best approach to finding legitimate companies who will work with a new signing agent?

I appreciate any helpful feedback.

Sincerely,
Sharon Martin in AZ

Hello,

You should definately sign up with Peach Tree Settlement funding. I think they are one of the best.

When on notary rotary just click on the Signing Services tab and review those companies that are listed. If you want to register with the company, just go to like yahoo search, google search, etc. and type in the Signing service company name.

When you go to the websites, make sure you sign up using the proper links. Other then that......... welcome.

They are an excellent company, but note that they don't do loan signings. Straight notary work.

Re: Peachtree Settlement

Roger is correct as to Peachtree Settlement, not involved in loan signings but in structured settlements. I handled one last week, small package (about thirty pages) but quite a few notarizations (I think it was like eight or nine).

Re: Peachtree Settlement

The peachtree settlement page seems to be under construction, I tried to sign up and couldn't get through. Should I e-mail them or is there another way to contact them? What to do???????
