Did anyone ever get a call from these people? I have a job from a SS and within an hour the loan officer called me and said that this was like a preliminary to a closing, that I am to collect all his information and have him sign the 1003. First for me!

Could it be NovaStar? NovaStar must have in their file broker disclosures, 1003, GFE and other state specific disclosers dated for the application date. From what I understand, many NovaStar offices are sending Notaries out to collect the application docs. However, this has not been my experience with the branch I do business with.

Becca, thanks for responding, yes this is exactly what I am doing. When I called their Ph# back the voice recording said Nova 1. Linda ps are there a lot of docs I need to sign and collect? Is it worth the $65 I agreed to?

I would do it for $65 depending on how far I would have to travel. You do not need to notarize or sign anything. Just make sure the bwrs sign correctly.
