Printing borrower's copies
How many of you print the borrower's copies on legal just like the lender's copies. I usually print the borrower's copies on letter. You think that is sufficient?

I do both on legal just in case they sign something incorrectly and we have to swap out from the borrower's copy.

Do you tell the printer to fit to page - or shrink it ? Some is hard enough to read at full size. Can't save much can you?

I'm with Vicki and Art
There have been several times I've had to swap borrower's and lender's copies because of a borrower's mistake. The savings in paper cost is not worth the effort, IMHO.

Agreed. Having the borrowers copies as backups... is... umm...invaluable.

What is the reason you've been printing them on letter sized paper?

I had a couple of borrowers complain about the size of the paper as far as them keeping their copies in some sort of filing system.

When I give the borrowers their copies I always have them in a legal-size file folder. I always make two manilla folders: One for the borrower and t'other for the lender/signing service. It helps me to keep everything straight, too!

Mary,
Another point to remember is that if you print the borrowers' copies on letter size you may well be cutting stuff off. At least I would think so.
