RE: Last Minute E-Docs

This is not a question, but it is a suggestion to all notaries. For the VERY LAST I have taken ER signing via Edocs for anyone who I don't know! My new rule is NO ER/Docs unless I have worked for a company before and have been PAID. I will not accept more then ONE signing that has been paid for from any company before I will accept another assignment. Unless the company wants to prepay when they sent me docs. I am getting tired of getting burned! With the equipment these companies want us to have and the time, money and hours that we extend.
Not to mention the effort to get Certified and keep on top of changes, these NON-PAY people are getting all to frequent. We are expected to be knowledgable-on/time and put their customers at ease and get the Docs back on time. Time to TRY and Put a STOP to this treatment.

Their main concern is to keep their contract with their customers. Keep track of who hired them and when they dont pay tell them you are going to put in a complaint to whom ever hired them. It has worked for me on many ocation. Fax them a letter addressed directly to the owner of the ss. Hope this helps
