She's Back in business

For those of you in the business who are still owed or never got paid from Notary America, Lisa Schreiber,(aka; Kathy,Carol, Melissa, etc.) has opened a NEW Signing Service. It is called Signature One, the physical address is a P.O. Box @ the UPS Store on Harrison Rd. in Tucson. The owner is listed as Melissa Taylor. However, this is one of the many alias known to be used by her. Just wanted everyone to be informed.

Re: Send a message to Notary Beware n/m

Actually, someone may take that as an insult....... not my intentions Smiley

Let me clarify:

The notary beware website is for Notaries who like to double check things out. Given the reputation of the person you mentioned, you should ask Notary Beware to add her information.

Oh, Korey... Let me clarify...
If you are in my college Chem. class and you raise your hand and ask what Co2 stands for, and I suggest you go back and read your 7th grade science book... I am insulting you. Get it?

Wait a minute, i take that back...
That would be a "put down" not an "insult".

Re: This is getting old ...

To tell someone to read and learn something that is required and a necessary *must* know, is not an insult. You are insulting yourself by continuing to dwell on how insulted you are because you were directed read, study and learn your your state notary guide.

Carolyn...I concur...

some people find comfort in crybabying on a public forum. It's hard to assist someone with this atitude, but we'll continue (as Professionals) to try

You're confusing me *Read Please*

Nobody said anybody insulted anyone..... I personally decided to change my post so the notary who posted the original message would not think that I am insulting or putting him down by making him/her think that I am suggesting that the message be taken off notary rotary forum and given to the Notary Beware website.

Read my posts again and see what I'm talking about. My goal here is not to put down or insult any notary, newbie or expirenced. I fought to bring back the professionalism of this board, so far, since Harry's comments, it has worked.

Sorry for the confusion

Are you SURE she is the same person? I emphasize sure, because I don't want to cause problems for her if she's not. I did not get paid for the last signing I did for Notary America in 2003 and will go after her if she, in fact, is the same. Thanks

I just saw her profile on NotaryLocator.com under zip code 85710. I could not remember why this name rang a bell:o. Is this her?

I just looked up her profile and compared it to the information I had on Notary America. They are the same address and phone number. I just sent her an invoice for the last signing I did for her in September 2003.

fyi

From another Melissa, owner of a UPS store, please do not contact the UPS store in AZ, they cannot give out info on this woman without you having a warrant or unless one of you happens to be the Postal Inspector. Do however contact the Postal Inspector, if she is running any kind of scam through the mail, he is your man. Go to USPS.com. The Postal Inspector is right up there with God, you don't want to mess with.

Re: She's Back in business - Strange

Strange
I just did a search on the AZ sec of state site, and Signature One is listed as a corporation, but it is dissolved. Seems that Dennis Schreiber is using the name, but it doesn't appear to be registered to him, as the only Signature One that came up on the search was the dissolved corporation
