Today was deadbeat SS day

3 companies called today and all were known deadbeat services. One of them would of had me if they had agreed to my rate off the bat. The company said they needed approval and would call me back, I checked them out after I hung up. They called back 5 minutes later and agreed to my rate, I replied I could not do it because of the reputation for no or slow pay.

btw the 3 that called

Speedy
JG Wentworth
Priority

I agree Mike. Speedy is bad and I am not fond of the gentleman there who I think is the owner (Frank). Good catch on your part.

I've done work for all three companies. Seven for Priority--they paid within 6 weeks, One for JG Wentworth--in November--haven't been paid yet, and three for Speedy closings (Jan,May and July of 2004. Finally got paid 11/14/04 for all three closings after many, many faxes and calls).

Good job Mike. The only way they will go out of business is to refuse their business.

Hello everyone, happy St. Patricks Day! I have been working for speedy for a long time now. I think they are great. There docs on time and good and pay is never a problem and no I do not know anyone personally at speedy except I talk to Frank, Sonia and Raenee all the time. NEVER have had any problems with them. It just goes to show again that we all really need to make our own judgements on our own experiences.

The reason you are paid is because it's a NJ company and you're in NJ. So if they go bad the chance of you taking legal actions and winning will be 100%

I considered doing the Speedy signing just for that reason alone.. I would get my money one way or the other because they are located in NJ.

If you search the fourms you seem to be the only one with a good relationship with them.

Re: Speedy Closing

If you having problems with no or slow payment by Speedy Closings in NJ. And the title company was Fiserv, you can call Kathy Jud at 1-800-842-8423 ext 1317. She is with Fiserv's vendor management department and let her know your situation.
