W-9 Form and Stamp
Where do I find a W-9 form? I have a seal and a stamp. When is the stamp used? Can you tell I'm new? Thanks.

You paid $10 for a W-9 form? WHY???
Why on this green earth would you pay for your W-9 form???
It's all over the net and is free. Check out the IRS website for the form.

Most signing services you apply to will supply you with a W-9, but you can get your own at www.irs.gov. As for the seal and stamp, you'll find the common advice on this board is to read your state's notary handbook a few times and also to use this board's "Search" feature. The topic has been discussed several tiomes in the past. Do a little research by reading past posts here and you'll find MANY of your questions will be answered.
Good luck!

And what seal and stamp would you be referring to?

I have the California Seal which imprints the paper with my name, commission number etc. I know where to put the seal, it gives that information right on the document. The stamp which is ink, printed with the same information as the seal, goes where? Thanks.

I think most only use the seal if requiered for a loose leaf so as to make sure no documents can be added or omitted.
