What would you do...expired ID?

The borrower's ID card expired over a year ago, and she had only a soc. sec. card and some department store card to show me. The lender, of course, says that is FINE and to just sign her. I don't doubt it was her...but I just don't like the situation. I'm in Florida if that makes a difference. I really would appreciate feedback. Thanks in advance. Smiley

I answered my own question...

Imagine that...I did a search for "expired ID" and found my answer in a few different previous posts! Excuse my "laziness" and I apologize for not doing that in the first place. So, thanks anyway.

Re: I answered my own question...

Read the statute carefully. It says the ID must have been ***issued*** within the passed 5 years.

Only the acceptable forms of ID as listed in the statutes can be used.
