interesting...

I haven't read this forum all weekend. This morning I swept through too many silly threads.
A colossial waste of time. One one hand, I envisioned recess on an elementary school playground. On the other, I envisioned an intervention at a therapy seesion gone wrong.

I believe people from around the nation visit this forum to learn, meet, share, etc.

It clearly states that 'advertising' is what your profile is used for. I despise deception and manipulation. What we have here is a poster whom is getting off on engaging the experienced notaries in battle to further his attempt at advertising. Well, folks, it's working (for him). Text book narcissism at it's finest. The Notaryrotary forum has really digressed, let's get it back to where it was. I also visit and post at Ragingbull, a stock board forum. Whenever a jerk/basher appears we all just turn the other cheek and viola, they usually dissapear. If I may make a suggestion, please do not respond. The longer the thread is, the more people are intrigued. I really don't want to see another page of responses like that again. It's like a soap opera. Let's cancel it's season.....just my two centavos

Thank you for this post.

I read this forum regularly so that I can learn from others and give advice of my own when i can and i have to say that i was throughly diappointed by what i was reading this morning.

This is a JOKE! the double posting, the alias', the fictitious meetings arranged online..... please get back to what this forum is for - learning from each other's experiences.

I couln't agree more. This is a wonderful site, a real learning tool for a lot of us. I hate to see it digress from it's potential.

<whine> BUT HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE STARTED IT!!!!! </whine>

I agree with you. I'm not quite sure how he thinks that his behavior in here will have a positive affect on his business, but to each his own.

I won't be giving him any more attention.

You may have a point, but

Each person suffers the repercussions of his own bad behavior. I dont suffer those repurcussions and neither does anyone else. So if his reputation is adversly affected, it is he who has to figure it out and fix it, if he wants to be taken seriously.

Re: You may have a point, but

What you said is pretty much exactly my point. If his true intent was just to advertise his services by posting a bunch of crap in here, it pretty much backfired. I won't even get into the dumb logic of advertising your services TO YOUR COMPETITIORS other than to say that it's not the best marketing target.

But on the off chance that somebody in here might have been a potential client, they now can see what kind of "professional" they're dealing with. I can't imagine too many of them will be rushing to the phone to hire him.

Charm AL says: "I envisioned recess on an elementary school playground."

I quite agree. In many of the posts it is a waste of time to go through them because they consist of arguments and "cutdowns". I think everyone is tired of it and the point of Charm AL's post is to just ignore what does not pertain to notary business information or pleasant chit-chat. It's the constant contribution to the "bashings" that are bringing the forum down. Just my humble opinion.
