loose Ack

I'm a newbie so don't get upset. I have not experienced any signings yet and still trying to do normal duties before signings. My question is I hear folks talking about using a loose Ack.
Is it normal to staple to original, paper clip, sorry but I am confused
TIA

Re: loose Ack - Staple to the original

Also, if you have an embosser, emboss both pages at the same time. Some people place a second copy of their seal so half is on one page and the other half is on the loose ack. (I don't personally like to do that.)

By stapling the two pages together, it won't get separated unless it is intentionally taken apart. And, the holes from the staple would be a possible hint that something is awry if it is used with another document.

Always, always, always, staple the loose aknowledgement to the document and make sure you fill out that bottom part where it says "optional". It will prevent any fraudulent use of the ack.

Re: loose Ack/Carlosnyc

I always staple loose acknowledgments and the new jurats for CA to the original document and cross out phrases sometimes printed from other states that do not comply with CA law. Always remember "Murphy's Law" and staple staple staple.
