My only triple was a three loan appointment with a single signer. Investment properties, with no RTC. And there were problems, so it took 5 hours and 10 minutes. Fee was $525, so it was worth staying for.

Hampton,

My goodness; how did you know how to price this? I had a similar situation, which as it turned out didn't materialize, it too was for three properties: one of which was a primary residence and the other two were investment properties and I never would have dreamed to price it as you did. Heh, i give you credit.

It was a Title Co who suggested the fee. All edocs, so the scheduler said, "Three sets at $175 each. OK?"

"Why, that would be just fine," I calmly replied.

I'd have done the signing for less, but once she made the offer, it was a done deal.

When the signing was complete, I had earned every penny. Calls to Title, calls to the lender, calls to the broker, calls to my therapist, and all this during lunchtime. With no lunch, of course.

I did my last one approx. 2years ago for $450 and this included emailed docs with 4 (signing at same location) borrowers and not all of them were signing on every loan.

I didn't charge enough: I think these loans signings are very difficult and the Title companies think they are very easy so they usually want you to give them a discount fee.

I think it is much easier to do 3 seperate loan signings in one day than the above.

The problem I encountered is probably different than what you experienced because these were all investment properties and it took hour after hour to get them signed because there was not a 3 day right to cancel and either the title company didn't tell me this or I didn't ask the right questions: I can't remember!

Oh Mike, I'm sorry for you. I've never personally had that happen but I'd be right there with you on the drink! Smiley

My record is ten

Ten investment properties
Identical except for HUD and Address
Two stamps /pkg
About 2 hours from FEDEX dropping off pkgs to me depositing in FEDEX box
$100+per pkg
Thought I had died and gone to heaven
Kind of makes up for a lot of tough signings

Uh, Bob...

...I don't believe Mike was seizing the opportunity to brag on the number of signings he performed in one day. You might want to re-read his posting for the correct tenor of his comments.

To Mike--- Sorry

Did not actually read your post last nite
Please note time of my post
Thought that it was a thread on multiple, simultaneos signings
Sorry that you had a bad day
You will find that stuff kind of evens out
The good situations usually cancel out the bad in the long run
If today isn't better, tomorrow will be for sure
