re: tired of e-docs......
I tell you all I am getting rather tired of dealing with e-docs. it seems that so often it is just an incredible hassle requiring an considerable input of extra time. Sometimes I have been compensated for this extra time; sometimes not. I presume I am not alone in this perception.
So I was just wondering what reputable companies (be they ss's or title companies) are there out there where the docs are usually overnighted (such as mortgage docs) or where you usually go to an office to sign (such as IREP) or where the docs are usually sent to the borrower(s) (such as Navy Federal)? TIA

More and more docs are going to be e-docs. I've seen it go from 0% to over 40% and climbing. I think you are going to see less coming as attachments and more going to digital sites.

Ted - I have been doing a lot lately for Express Financial Services, Inc. out of Pittsburgh, PA. EFS does Chase "easy close" loans 1st & 2nd with docs overnighted in plenty of time. I love'em! Such a nice respit from the whole edoc hassel.

First American Services is a great company. Always overnited and most of the time the borrower gets them first. Pays between 15 to 20 days.
