slow times?

Just wondering if any one else is as slow as I am in Mi. These last couple of weeks are bad!!!!

The second week of March was slow, but this past week and next week have been busy for me in PA. Sometimes there is a lull in March. Enjoy it if you can afford too because April through early December is usually a crazy time.

Usually the firs 2 weeks are slow for me in TN, then it starts picking up from the 15th and on.

Not slowing down here. With spring in the air and such great weather. People are getting ready to remodel and are getting HELOC loans like crazy. I had 3 yesterday and a late night re-fi and I have already done a refin/heloc and 2 helocs today and it is only 3:30pm

Its spring break here and the traffic is horrible. What normally takes 30 minutes, is taking me an hour. It is supposed in be in the high 70's all week, it has gotten as high as 82 in the past few weeks. Also the TPC (Tournment Players Championship) is here this week. Did a signing late last night because they were going out of town today. The one I did this morning, they were leaving for vacation right from the signing at the brokers office. Everyone was in a hurry.

I got a call at 10:39 this a.m. I didn't have my cell on my hip, the message was "I need to know if you can be at_____at 10:45 this morning" lol...
I called back and they changed it to 11:30
that's the new record for notice in my books!
I rushed around and sat at their office until 1:45 waiting for the docs to be corrected and prepared.

I'm waiting on doc's as I write....I can't complain about business, if it picks up that's great news to me! I've been steady but I have turned down about 6 or 7 this month because of the low compensation involved. I've been busy but I guess I'm cutting on my nose despite my face when I turn down appointments. I got bit by a SS last month that made me bitter! I know business has picked up because I'm still right on schedule of what I anticipated I would close for this month, even though I turned several down. Charm I'm proud of you! You seem to be doing well! I hope you don't get bit like I did, lots of work for little pay.

Hey Alabama...I must be blessed...I've gotten paid timely for everything I've done, I wished I knew an SA in Northern bama this morning, for tomorrow. I had to turn down $125.00 (They pay within a week!) in Grant because of time/distance and another appt in Lacey's Spring.

I wish I could help but I'm in Birmingham. I know a good closer in Decatur, but I don't think that will help much either. It's hard when you have to turn them down and the the money is there.

How about N. Calif? Very slow in my neck of the woods.......

I have had 2 signings thus far for March, I had 7 last month. I am still breaking into this business, although I was a bank loan officer and manager for 15 years. I turned down my 1st Veri-doc signing yesterday because they only could authorize $50.00. I have made a stand to get paid for what I'm worth, hopefully it works out! There are only 11 notaries in my vast area in No. Caifornia.....something going to give, I can feel it!
