AAAACK! What happened to me today
Just a quick recap - - I did a signing last week for a couple an hour and a half away. I got a callback on Wednesday that the person that drew up the documents left some things out and we had to resign. They asked me to go back and do it again. I agreed and was scheduled to go the following morning [Thursday] and waited Wed. night for documents that never arrived in my email. The following morning, I still had not received the docs so I called and left a voice message. After a couple of hours and no return phone call, I called back and she informed me that she had just emailed them to me [approx 9:30 am]. At this point, it is too late to d/l the docs, print them and make the hour and a half drive before the customer had to go to work, so we agreed on a time this afternoon [Friday, a day later than we had planned]. I had a couple of questions about redating some of the papers and talked with the lady at the title company, who then turned me over to the atty to answer things properly since she was unsure. I then left for my appt. The customer wasn't happy about having to resign, he was under the impression it was just going to be a couple of pages that were left out and not the complete package. He called the mtg company and spoke with the loan officer while I waited. They ended up signing and I left, picked up my children from the babysitter and after making sure I had all the documents in order and things were ready to go, drove over and had everything FedExed. Got some dinner and groceries while I was out and returned home . . . . to an email [email time was 11:30 am, about the same time I left for my appt] from the title company asking me if things were set and ready to go and if things printed out ok - - - with the HUD statement attached. !?! WHAT? There's another document you didn't tell me about, that you sent over 24 hrs after the original documents?? I had NO idea there would be more documents. As things stood Thursday morning when the first set of docs were emailed, that was it and I was supposed to have gone for the signing that afternoon. But the customer had to change to Friday. So, how can they send me more docs 24 hrs later and never tell me there would be more. I hope I'm making myself clear on what happened and that someone can offer me advice on what to do. I'm pretty upset over the whole thing. Thanks if you made it this far!

Re: missing hud
It is not necessary for the HUD to be with the package - most lenders prefer it. Borrower must receive copy within a set time frame.
It could be sent to the borrower, he could sign it and send it back. No need for a notary.
In the last 3-4 days, I believe there was a thread re: no HUD in a package - some of the info would apply here.
