Additional Fee's

I am curious what other Nothern California Notaries get for picking up doc's, and doing E-docs, ect.. I am working for pretty cheap and wonder if I should charge for the extra services, or is picking up stips, and docs considered extra? What about dropping them off at Title companies if they are local? Extra for that? Is it worth getting a lot of jobs with little pay, or hold out for the money?

Hi, I'm not from CA.
However I do charge for extra services. Picking up and dropping distance and time should determine your fee. I will pick up docs and drop to mortgage or lender as a separate service and charge a flat $30 in my hometown because I will stay and look thru the docs to make sure they have everything before I deliver them. We used to do that as mortgage brokers and it's really convenient to just call someone else to do it. The broker still gets paid a nice commission
