Advice please

I have been contacted by a Mortagage company to do loan signings in their office. The office is 15mins from home. During peak hour traffice it could take 30 mins never more than that. They pay $100. I did one this past week, and they have called me 4 times since, but I was unavailable. The Loan officer actutally sits with the borrower's and myself. She is an awesome lady and wants to use me exclusively. She likes my personality and we clicked very well.
Question....Is $100 okay or should I be asking for more? I am not a greedy person just want to know what is fair. She says I will be doing 10+ per week, of course if I am available.

I would take $100.00 that is awesome especially if it is steady work that you can count on.
If you can't do them pass them my way..I will take that kind of money. Where in CA are you? I am in San Diego County.

Good for you. After all your hard work, you have earned an opportunity like this.

$100 for in-office sounds good to me if they provide docs. If they do 10+ per week, they should usually be able to schedule 2-3 in a row for you.

2-3 in a row makes $100 each a good deal.

I would kiss up heavily, thank the scheduler, and say Yes to $100 each. Arrive with chocolate once a month.

I would try to get most of the appointments in the late morning so you still have afternoons and evenings available for other Signings.

Later: work with the manager/receptionist on scheduling loans back-to-back.

Re: Advice please - they have it all wrong!

No No NO! Whatever you do - do not follow their suggestions!.

Instead do this:
Show up late wearing torn up scruffy jean short shorts.
Don't shave. (face/man - legs/woman).
Be snotty and condescending to the scheduler.
Tell all clients they can get a better rate elsewhere.
Then give them MY PHONE NUMBER!

$100 per closing or $100 for the day?

Seems like a no brainer if it is in-house for $100 per closing.

If it is $100 for the day regardless of how many loans are closed, then it's not a good deal.

That is a great deal, especially if you do not have to bother with paperwork. No brainer take it.
Congrats!!!

100 bucks is great! That is what I usually charge if the travel is within 40 miles round trip. $125. If over
Good for you! And actually that works out even better because she is there to explain the docs and field any questions or concerns!!! Smiley
