Around Town Closings?

I searched and Paul/MD once asked the same question with no response. Does anyone now have any good/bad info on this co from Texas?

Thanks.

Hi Vicki,

Yes, I do. First, let me say it is "Around Towne Closings"; not the way you have it written. As I am sure you are aware that is quite important as far as doing searches. By way of background (not for you so much but for others), they are located in Plano, Texas.

I have handled two signings for them, fairly close together (time wise and also when you get right down to it also geographically). I was trying to ascertain their address (there wasn't one on either one of their confirmations), so I could send them an invoice. But lo and behold, a check for one of the signings just showed up today. I would imagine that I will receive the other check within the next two or three days. So they do pay on a relatively timely basis.

On balance, they are nice people to work with and professional. The only quibble I have is that the second signing, a refinance and a HELOC, turned out to be voluminous, much larger than I had been told.

I would suggest if you want more input that you do a search on gomobilenotary. I know there are comments there.

Same experience as Ted - check arrived today for a 4/13 signing, so less than 30 days.
