Attorney Only States

Can anyone provide a list of attorney only states and states that have specific requirements of signing agents?

Attorney only states - GA, DE, WV, MA, SC may be one or two more. Also, laws could have changed.

IL - requires some type of license.
MD - Requires Title Producer's License
TX - Can't do helocs

May be more info coming in other responses.

Texas - Helocs...

Helocs can be closed in a law office, lender branch or title company.

The law probably meant to keep the remote notary closer OUT of the mix, but the law is not stated to do that and it goes on.

I'm not an attorney, not practicing law...I may be a dirty rotten scoundrel and a liar, just passing along "hearsay" so don't quote me.
