CJ Signings
Has anyone had trouble getting paid from them?

I've done many signings for them and they pay as agreed. You have to bill them at the end of the month and they pay the end of the following month. I always get my checks quickly and they are very nice to deal with.

They pay as stated, its just you could wait up to 60 days for payment. Example: work done in April you will not get payment till the first week of June.
Seems more and more SS are extending the payment schedule. I am thinking of dropping all services that do not pay within 30 days. Anything over 45 days is not worth it IMHO. Do I tell people I owe, I think I'll pay you within 60 days now..

Reducing A/R time at the expense of your net *is* a bad thing. You must have some plan to increase your volume of Net 30 business? If so, then deciding to "drop" your non net 30 business is silly, it should just be allowed to wither as you ramp up the rest.

85% of my business pays within 14 - 21 days and the few SS I do work for pay within 30. The amount of business from SS that pay over 30 is very small and not worth the wait for the money.
When I take appointments(New Companies) we go over payment schedules TC- 15 days SS-30 days If those terms are not agreed on and confirmed the company can find another notary.
There is no reason a company should take longer then 30 days from DOS to pay you.
