Waiting for the phone to ring. But nothing. I see not many post right now.
Maybe they are busy printing docs for tonight signing. Not me. Sniff.... lol!

Quiet here to day as well. Was busy all last week. Hopefully the phone will start ringing again tomorrow. I am glad for a day off, as saturday was a very busy day. Hang in there

Me too - using the time to sign up with more title and escrow companies. Subject line I'm using is "crunch time" - a subtle reminder that they need to close by the 25th to have the loans record this month. As if they don't all have $$$ in their eyes right now...

I was extremely busy last week and Saturday. I am booked for today, Tuesday and Wednesday, but I was booking last Thursday and Friday for this week. I already had 3 today and I have Tuesday and Wednesday jammed.

Is it SS or title/escrow that has you booked out so far in advance? I am usually called a few hours before the appointment. Should I assume that it is because I am new?

I am only woking for my regular title companies. I am not doing last minute, the day of the signing and 5 minutes before the signing due to all the headaches. The Edocs for my sigings today came on Thursday of last week, Friday I got my Tuesday and today I got my Wednesday edocs. They may call you last minute because you are new and they have called other notaries who are already booked.

I here I thought ALL signings were last minute. I kind of enjoy the adrenaline rush from getting the call, downloading the docs and running out the door.

Happened last night at 8pm. If there was a notary scheduled for that spot they'll regret missing it - borrower was a loan officer and took less than 20 minutes to complete the package.

Hopefully by the time I get tired of the last minute excitement I will have 'regulars' that call.

Sorry- I hit the enter twice & posted before putting my message in. I also have been worried about phones not ringing. Did 4 signings the week before last but didn't get one call last week. Today I finally got a call and felt some relief. Since I'm new, I was worried that I had totally messed up a signing(s) and just wasn't going to get anymore calls. Hopefully the phones will continue to ring & I'll get busy like so many others I see on here.

Yeah, I am semi worried too. No calls. Got two calls on Friday but was in a training class for unrelated business and lost those. But, not one call today!

I am new as well, but don't feel so new, since I was able to do so many the last two months. I don't think I will do as well this month.

Oh well, my own fault. Will be sending out postcards to as many title companies and mortgage companies that I can!
