Field Services AND $100,000 E & O Insurance

Some companies requesting field services require $100,000 E & O insurance. Does notary insurance cover field services, or do I need separate insurance? Also I did a search on E & O insurance and cannot find information. Does anyone know of somewhere to get that amount of E & O insurance? NNA does not carry that amount. TIA

The NNA does offer 100,000 E&O insurance through Surety Bond Co of America, however that policy does not cover field service inspections.

Our company liabilty insurance also carries a E&O rider in which every year we have to update it to include everything we want the E&O polcy to cover to include Notary Public, Private Investigations, process serving,Home Inspections etc.

We use Mechinics out of New York but the only provide for Private Detective Agencies & Security Companies. you can google search for Small Business Insurance and there are many companies that provide the coverage you are looking for as for pricing it varies at to what all kinds of work you provide.
