Good News FL Notaries, WaMu finally gets it!

Yippee!!!!

MortgageDocs got through to the powers that be @ WaMu. I received this email tonight.


To our FLORIDA notary network:

Effective immediately, Washington Mutual (WAMU) NO longer requires
witnesses for their signings when property is vested (located) in Florida.

Please DO NOT request the borrowers to provide witnesses for WAMU
signings, unless the property IS vested in a witness state according to the
Special Instructions on the borrower’s detail in SignSTAT.
