Did a search on them. Did not get what I wanted to know about them. They want me to do a signing for them on Thursday. They just need the wife to sign docs and she said their normal fee is $50. but willing to pay me $75.00 for the distance. What do you all think?

I accepted an assignement from them a few weeks ago. I was told on the phone it was only 7 or 8 pages of RESPA docs. Accepted $50 as it was just around the corner and what I thought would be a small package. When the package arrived it was 70 pages!!!! I called and told them the fee would be the same for a full signing. The responded saying they won't pay that since nothing had to be notarized. I told them they could find some one else. On top of that they will deduct $25 from your fee if you fail to fax them the tracking number by 9 AM the following day. I also refused to agree to that.

I was supposed to do a signing for them Thursday she just called back and told me I would have to back date the docs because her husband is signing tomorrow. I told her I did a 2 part signing before and I didn't have to back date. She said thank you very much she will find someone else. Does anyone back date? I just wont do it.

They will deduct 1/2 fee if fax with tracking # not received by 9 the next morning. So a $100 closing (75 + 25 edocs) would mean a $50 fee reduction if fax not sent on time.
