Info for new notary

I just received my stamp and have filed my bond and am ready to go as a notary. I am in southern california and was wondering if anyone knows who I can contact or where I can get information on ride alongs. I would like to go on a couple of ride alongs first before I do one on my own. I am a very smart person and I passed my notary exam with flying colors as well as a loan signing agent course I took, but I can't help being nervous on the fist time. I know that passing a test with great scores is not the same as having actual hands on experience. I guess I just need a little confidence. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! I would also like to know how much would a ride along cost. I lost my full time job due to a work related injury. My funds are low at this time. I would really like to make this work on a part time basis. Thanks.

Wishing you good luck. I remember being VERY nervous at my first signing. Just make sure that you look over all docs before you go and follow the lender's instructions. If you have questions at the closing call your signing company or the lender (I had to do it a few times when I first started out). Lenders would rather have you call then close the loan and have errors.
