450 pages?? Does that include the borrowers copy?
Look on the HUD of the first and see if the proceeds from the second are used to pay down the first. If so, there may be a special document in the second that must be signed, witnessed and notarized authorizing the issuance of the check directly to the title company instead of the borrowers. Other than that, it's basically just two packages. Take you time and plan accordingly.

last week I had several of these monster packages. take charge from the minute you first speak w/the borrower or you will be there for hours. as it was, mine all took just around an hour to sign and I didn't have any problems or questions come up. my fee is sufficient to encompass packages of this size.

'Take Charge'
Oh my gosh, Sue would you care to be gracious enough to share the shpiel (did I spell that right?) you use to 'take charge'. I have these ALL the time and the people are old, chatty, and some of them want to read everything. How the heck do you speed them up without being rude?

Re: 'Take Charge'
I'm not Sue - but what I do is... Begin by explaining that I am there only to authenticate their identity and ensure they sign the documents correctly. 1st go over the RTC. Then tell them you are scheduled for another loan at X time. Let them know that if they have any questions they have 3 days to get in touch with their loan officer.
