Limited Power of Attorney

Hi, I run into a limited power of attorney with this verbiage "On this day of...before me notary public in and for said county and state personally appeared John Doe the individual who executed the foregoing instrument and acknowledged that....did examine and read the same did sign the foregoing instrument, and that same is .....free act and deed.

My problem is what do I do. Should I attach an acknowledgement?

Yes, if you read the verbiage it is clearly an acknowledgment, so attach one that conforms to your state's notary wording.
