Luis is from First American Signature Services

Just a heads up -

"Luis" has been suddenly posting lots of advice for notaries to be happy with taking $50 for signings. Luis is posting from First American Title in Santa Ana, Calif.

Louis' IP address is 206.114.10.254
Here is what his IP address look up shows:

Yep...I was on to that earlier...and, how do the title companies feel about their employees using this board to be sexist and say things like "butt nutt?"

I'll bet they are sooooo proud when their employees endear them to the notaries.

Yessirreee....ladies, thanks to Luis's little fun and games this evening he's validating our paranoid thoughts that sometimes signing services kinda make us feel like they are pimps.

Please...no disrespect intended to the good guys, but if you wonder why we get a little defensive on occasion...now you know...ring up ol' Luis and tell him a big THANK YA!

Luis the soft spoken scheduler from FASS is a signing agent doing 30 signings a week for $50 each?? Would his employer be interested that he is spending his work day on this site harassing hard working notaries that now refuse to do their signings for $50 a pop, and keep sending emails begging us to do so. And Luis as to your comment about notaries messing up, do you know how many FASS signings I have been at where the title company messed up, LOTS. But big dumb notaries are never supposed to mention that.

FASS should be very proud of their star employee. And let's not forget this sexist remark:

He must be very bored and have a lot of time on his hands at FASS. Guess you get bored when you can't find anyone to schedule a $50 loan with.

"FASS should be very proud of their star employee"

Has anyone contacted them yet? I know I'm in their database, I think I'm gonna drop them an email demanding they remove me because of their actions on this board. Wouldn't hurt for others to do something similar.

And the added bonus is that I won't have to get their lame "training" emails anymore.

Lame isn't the word. Do they know it is the millenium plus 5 and that $50 doesn't cut it and hasn't for 5 years. And to send some lame illiterate scheduler to scold us all, just too much.

Re: What to supply to DNSStuff

Becca, on most posts, you can see an IP right below the "Posted by" line. Use that, and see the magic happen! :-)

When you are not logged in, like I am not right now...your IP shows.

If you are logged in, it does not.

Take the IP address from the message header and enter it in the "IPWhois Lookup" (middle column) of DNSstuff.

DNSstuff has a lot of great tools at your disposal. One of the best is the ability to check your email provider. Scroll to the bottom of the DNSstuff web page and enter your email address in the "E-mail Test" box.

Also, for those with web sites, try their "DNS Reports". Lots of good information.

If you are logged in as a user, your IP does not show. Mine will not show in this message. But if I had posted without logging in then my IP address would show.

Possibly this is the same very soft spoken Luis who used to call me while working at LSI.
I stopped hearing from him and wondered where he had gone. Now I know...
