Need assistance for SS signup

Is it normal for the Signing Services to ask for your SS#. I realize they must ask for your commission # but I am always skeptical about giving out my ss. Please help...in the process of signing up now....THANKS!!!

Yes, they have to have a SS number as they have to 1099 you for income tax.

However go to the IRS website and get an EIN number and use that. You get the number almost instantaneously
