Newbie in California
Just received my first call for a signing. It is a Ditech loan paying $60. Anything I should know about Ditech? The loan signing company is Stomping Stampers out of Texas. $60 seemed a little low, but I'm not going to complain. I need the experience. Any suggestions?

Put your state in your moniker for quick reference
1. Use their checklist 2. Black ink only 3. Have plenty of new California Jurats to attach. Ditech has not updated 4. Make sure all acknowledgements conform to California Notorial Law 5. One of their certs used to be missing the venue and had to be handwritten in 6. Don't miss filling in the Venue of the Indemnity affidavit of liens, (it is usually on the first page at the top, cert on back of page two.
That's all I can remember off hand. I am sure others can fill in some blanks:-)
Where abouts in Cali are you?????

Thanks so much for your help and encouragement. I received the docs today (Sat) for the Monday signing. I am going to study them now. Once again, thanks

They called me earlier today, is the property in Lake Arrowhead but the signers are in San Juan Capistrano? The SA thought the signing was in Lake Arrowhead. Good Luck, give a update as to how it went.
