I got the same email and I was about to ask the same question @ the forum. If anybody could thorw some light on whether signing up with more websites increase the business? As of now I am a member of 4 websites and the response is moderate...

Whenever I get a call from a new SS/TC I ask how they found me. 95%+ are either NotaryRotary or Signingagent.com

HaHa this was the main reason I just now came on here. I wanted to know if anyone else
knew about them. I just paid and signed up for it. I will tell you how it goes if you like. 35
bucks cant hurt just to try it and someone has to be the guinea pig. I dont know as much
about which companies to watch out for so someone else that does know might wanna check
out their list of signing services. I was lookin through them and I thought I saw a couple that I
I have heard werent too reputable. Oh well lets see how it goes.

Ok I just checked out the ratings of some of the companies on here (some are the same) and
there are some good ones.

I took a look at their web site. Their claim to be the foremost national notary database just deosn't hold water - they are brand new, and have only a tiny handful of registrants - barely 35 in CA. This is just another of those vultures who are too lazy to go out and get a real job, and think they can just set up a web site and then sit back and watch the money flow in. Give them a miss - you won't regret it.

Just as a side note to what Art said above, its not always signing companies that go looking
on these little not so well known sites. The best signing I ever had came from one of them,
I'm pretty sure I didnt even pay to use the site he found me on(Ive advertised everywhere) It
was a lender who worked for a reverse mortgage company and he not only paid me double
my fee but he came down to be at the signing (from Bakersfield of all places, I am in Orange
County. Thats 150 miles away) and brought the docs with him. Not only that but he paid
FAST. I got the check like 2-3 days later. So dont knock the small sites. Quality Vs. Quantity
though. I get more biz from this site and signingagent.com of course but rarely any that offer
that good of a deal.

Re: By any chance is his name "Steve"?
Misty, was the guy's name "Steve" by any chance? I've done a couple of reverse mortgages for him and he always brings the docs, you do the signing, and then he leaves with the docs. Very simple and the fee is admirable.

Where did he say he found you? Because I asked if it was here or SA.com and he said no.

Re: By any chance is his name "Steve"?
When he was in the Modesto area I did some reverse mortgages for a signing service up North. Now he's in Bakersfield and he called one day and said he would rather just give me the whole fee, but he was going to be at the signing. He's a kick.
