Payment from Title Companies

Having only worked for the SS...What is the normal turnaround time for payment when working directly for the Title Companies? Should I expect to be paid immediately?

You may not be paid immediately.

It depends on the company. Some won't pay if loan doesn't fund.

Some pay immediately...some pay w/i 30 days...some pay at 60-90...some are deadbeat title companies.

It has been my experience that title cos pay in a more timely manner, usually within 2 weeks. Be sure to get a stipulation in your contract/confirmation that you will be paid even if the loan does not fund.
